Location: Brunswick, ME/Atlanta, GA/Chicago, IL

Position Summary:

Hi there. How’s the job hunt going? Truthfully, we hope this is your last stop. But if not that’s okay, we just hope you find what you’re looking for. Which is, well, what we’re looking for: a great fit.On that note, we’re searching for an amazing salesperson to join our team. Someone with a lot of energy, wit and overall zest for trying out new strategies and appealing to new clientele. But before we get too far into the list of your amazing qualities, it’s possible you’re curious to know a little bit about us?

We’re Identity Group. A 65-year-old (we don’t look at day over 40) American manufacturing company that creates interior signs, visual décor, and business products for thousands of brands and individuals alike. “Interior signs?” you ask. Think: Marriott Hotels or the new Salesforce Tower in downtown San Francisco, and all the signage inside that gets you where you want to go. When it comes to visual décor, think: grocery stores and retail stores, and the unique department banners, aisle markers and item labels that tell you where you are and what you’re buying. But wait, there’s more. We craft beautiful business products too. Everything from business cards and note cards, to stamps and ink – there’s very little we can’t create.

Let’s Talk Skills:

Enough about us. Let’s talk you. We’re looking for a creative professional interested in joining our Sales team in Portland, ME, specifically dedicated to visual décor – that sweet signage we mentioned earlier found in grocery stores and the like.

Above all else, we need a team player. Someone to connect with clients, old and new, and provide valuable retail sign and décor solutions to the clients’ needs. Good communication and project management skills are qualities we covet, not to mention serious attention to detail when documenting sign specifications or working with our graphics and production departments. Previous sign sales, installation experience, and knowledge of retail and grocery channels is very helpful, but also something we can teach to the right person. Could this be you? To be specific, can you do the below?
