Project Manager – Wichita, KS

Location: Wichita, KS

Position Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and monitoring all aspects of architectural signage jobs from the quoting stage through installation completion. This requires management of multiple projects simultaneously through quoting, design, drawing development, estimating, processing, manufacturing, and installation. Will interact closely with Sales personnel and customers, including General Contractors, Designers, Architect firms, Sign Consultants, and other Sign Manufacturers. Will also support and work with (and in some cases direct flow of work as needed) the other Sales Support teams, the Sales teams, and the Manufacturing/Operations teams. Represent the company through verbal and electronic communication in a professional, timely manner. Possess strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This is a vital support role to our company growth initiative and candidate must possess outstanding communication skills, be extremely organized, detail-oriented to support the sales processes, and written processes.

Essential Functions:

• Review contracts and bids for job requirements, help define the Scope of Work and ensure paperwork is completed
• Work with Sales personnel and clients on projects to expedite bids, and convert to internal projects (actual signage orders)
• Help develop a base schedule with client, and drive both the client and the internal team to meet time table
• Coordinate sign packages with in-house departments including art, estimating, engineering, purchasing, scheduling, and production
• Ensure latest art drawings are per customer’s specifications; all necessary paperwork is completed and authorized by customer
• Monitor job through the fabrication and installation processes and address customer changes as needed
• Ensure the quality and precision of all work produced in the PM function
• Provide customers with product and service information and quotes; receive customer orders
• Identify, research, and resolve customer complaints and issues and escalate as needed
• Must be knowledgeable with all Identity Group websites and products
• Must be detail-oriented and can multi-task, and possess strong organizational and communication skills
• Maintains confidentiality of Company and employee information
• Performs other job functions as assigned by manager or supervisor
• Comply with all Identity Group policies and procedures
• Submit Order Request for Trade Show samples promptly
• Request waivers as needed
• Timely Updating of Salesforce Independently or Through Sales Coordinator
• File Emails in Project Correspondence folders – Improve Customer experience
• Review Contracts and PO’s before submittal to VP of Sales and Controller
• Coordinate and finalize sign packages
• Demonstrate passion with urgency to be responsive to customer needs and requests received via phone and email
• Provide price quotes to customers
• Keeps track of project status
• Communicate with Design, Wayfinding, Purchasing and Finance throughout the project
• Confirm Production lead time with Purchasing and Manufacturing
• Send Customer questions and/or revisions to appropriate departments
• Keep one point of customer service contact throughout the process
• Identify, research and take action to resolve customer complaints
• Facilitate the quoting of custom and/or standard brands
• Record new projects in the job management software (Teamwork) to ensure projects are moving through the process; date each project for tracking
• Once the project is ready for production, send to Project Coordinator
• Must be able to compose grammatically correct email and follow up if needed
• Send order acknowledgment to customer
• Follow up on projects as needed

Physical Requirements:
• Regularly must be able to sit for long periods
• May lift to 10 pounds
• Must occasionally stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Frequent keyboarding

Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED is required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator and Filemaker desired
• Prior Customer Service is required
• Must be able to communicate in a professional manner (oral and written)
• Two years of project management experience preferred.
