Inside Sales Representative – Wichita, KS

Location: Wichita, KS

Position Summary:

Inside sales role proactively managing a book of existing business comprised of several customer types. Leverage your relationship management skills to ensure excellent product and service delivery leading to high customer satisfaction and retention. Role will also be responsible for creating new business opportunities and growth on existing business. Candidate should possess strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 Ability to do drawing “take offs” to determine the location, type, and quantity of signs from a set of blueprints.
 Ability to read through bid submittal documents and determine what products we can manufacture, where they are located, and what relevant questions to ask.
 Ability to complete budgetary estimates for customers when needed.
 Ability to work with Brands and individual projects to create custom design concepts that match the vision of the customer.
 Perform research on specific Hospitality Brands, new brand openings, management company expansions, major designer wins, and procurement groups. This includes identifying new projects or leads for each of these groups.
 Prospecting from lead lists to identify the project decision makers and ultimately bring them in for quotation.
 Knowledge of the brand standards and specific rules/limitations required for each Major and Sub Brand where you service customers.
 Working knowledge of code requirements, inspections, estimating, manufacturing, and installation of basic sign projects. Ability to walk a customer through in detail an entire project from start to finish. Knowledge of all IDG processes and key decision makers in each of these areas is required.
 Ability to create professional PowerPoint presentations and emails that will generate confidence to our customers.
 Travel to Trade Shows and Customer Visits including presenting ALL IDG’s products and services to different end users (Architects, Designers, General Managers, Management Companies, Procurement Companies, and Brand Headquarters).
 Upselling products to specific brands and strategic sales planning in competitive situations. Negotiation skills are a must.
 Ability to read and identify concerning issues in PO Contracts and Brand Qualification Contracts
 Highly organized to keep multiple projects, prospects, quote follow-ups, and customer visits moving forward.

 Manage simple and complex accounts, while proactively integrating project managers and customer service representatives into the sales process
 Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders and your team members to ensure the successful delivery of services to your customers
 Investigate, track and resolve customer and client concerns; identify trends and implement solutions
 Ensure optimal client feedback to Project Coordinators, Sales or other departments with regard to product requirements and enhancements
 Regular reporting to upper management on the status of business initiatives
 Complies with all Identity Group policies and procedures
 Maintains confidentiality of Company and associate information
 Performs other job functions as assigned by manager or designee

Physical Requirements:

 Regularly must be able to sit, talk, see and hear and occasionally walk and stand
 Sedentary work, frequently may lift up to 10 lbs
 Must occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and handle and frequent use of fingers for keying

Education and Experience:

 Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
 5 years experience in the sign industry
 3-5 years selling or managing in relationship-based environments
 Demonstrable history of creating relationships and gaining new business as a result
 Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experience a plus
