Embossing

EmbossingElegant, commanding, memorable. The use of embossing sets your design apart from all others by adding texture to an otherwise flat surface.

Use a blind embossing technique, instead of ink, to render text or graphics and your design will whisper an element of prestige. Blind embossing uses a metal die combined with heat and pressure to cause the paper stock to stand in relief of the flat surface (embossed) or to depress the paper stock resulting in a cavity (debossed).

An ink emboss applies the same embossing technique to printed text or graphics. The raising or depressing of the printed element adds visual and tactile interest to your design. A foil emboss combines the beauty of foil stamping with the precision of embossing to yield a truly impressive result.
